DIGITAL PRINTING

Digital printing is highly flexible and is directly controlled by a computer, which brings savings for flashing, film, plates or screens used in traditional printing modes. This process has many other advantages: it reduces production costs and times, and improves personalisation and management of variables such as text and images. These low fixed costs make this process appropriate for small production runs, and also for larger quantities.

FLEXO-PRINTING

Flexographic printing is a type of direct transfer printing in relief. This technology is largely used for packaging for medium to large production series (> 20,000 pieces). Thanks to development and tests, Gravic has been able to optimise the performance of flexographic printing, enabling it to produce technical face plates in large volumes. This technology can also be paired with rotating screen printing to print glues, braille enamels, or plating.

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing provides a high-quality service which guarantees perfect colour control. The ink is pressed through a mesh screen by a rubber rake. Some cells are open, while others are closed, to form an image area. This technology can be used to deposit ink over large areas, with large quantities of pigment. Gravic was a pioneer in the development of continuous screen printing and rotative screen printing, to offer technical labels at high volumes and low cost.
