Job Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for deploying and executing the Gravic Group’s commercial and marketing strategy, in line with the company’s overall objectives.
The Sales leads sales growth by developing existing clients, opening new business opportunities, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
The Sales acts as a key interface between clients, internal teams and KAM, in order to ensure efficient project execution and support tailored to client needs.
The Sales ensures the management of commercial activity through the monitoring of performance indicators, the analysis of results and the implementation of necessary corrective actions.
Key Objectives
- Establishes, develops and maintains existing and new businesses (according to the company strategy)
- Supports customers: Assist, advise, and support clients in establishing specifications to meet their needs for new projects and/or the development of existing products. Provide client support in the event of product-related issues
- Co-ordinates customer relations with the different services and working in partnership with KAM’s
- Monitors his sales performance according to the strategy and targets

- Establishes, develops and maintains existing and new businesses developing sales
- Identify, prospect, meet new potential customers to optimize business relationships by offering a variety of solutions and generate new turnover for GRAVIC HUNGARY.
- Increase the value of the turnover done with existing customers by identifying new potential markets and promotes GRAVIC products and services.
- Supports customers
- Identify best solutions to meet customer expectations. Find best technical solutions to customer needs.
- Make presentation of GRAVIC highlight our performance and showing innovations.
- Co-ordinates customer relations with the different services
- Follow up customer projects and be the interface between GRAVIC and the customer
- Monitors his sales performance according to the strategy and targets
- Participates in the sales reviews and settles objectives with general management
- Follow up the results and KPI on a monthly basis
- Records datas in the CRM/ Cerm
- Record RFQ, customer visit report and all-important communication in the CRM/ Cerm software.
- InternalCoordinationand Strategic Role
- Work with other departments to meet the specific needs of the account.
- Act as the client’s ambassador within the company. The area sales manager does not just sell a product: they build a relationship of trust, often over several years, and act as a growth partner for their client.
- Comply with current standards and organization according to audits.
Knowledge/skills/profil
Strategic and organizational skills:
- Strategic vision: ability to identify development opportunities for clients.
- Project management: coordination of internal and external actions, meeting deadlines and commitments.
- Autonomy and rigor.
- Market and competitive intelligence: to anticipate needs and adapt the offer.
Technical and professional skills
- Knowledge of the industrial sector: understanding of products, manufacturing processes, and technical constraints.
- Proficiency in B2B sales techniques: long sales cycle, complex negotiation, solution selling.
- Strategic account management: ability to develop and retain key accounts.
- Financial and commercial analysis: ability to read a customer P&L, calculate margins, ROI, etc.
- CRM & digital tools: proficiency in tools
Interpersonal skills
- Strong customer focus: service-oriented, active listening, ability to understand customer issues.
- Negotiation and diplomacy: ability to manage complex discussions with a variety of stakeholders.
- Cross-functional leadership: ability to mobilize internal teams (technical, production, quality) around customer needs.
- Clear and impactful communication: both written and oral, in English and Hungarian.
Place/method of work
- During the onboarding period, the place of work will be Debrecen for the first 2-3 weeks, followed by remote work
- Regular travel to client meetings and customer visits is typical and expected
