Role Focus:
The position combines junior project management and project engineering tasks—with many technical challenges and responsibilities that strengthen your project management mindset and professional independence.
What will you be doing?
Project engineering and project coordination tasks:
- Providing technical and project-related support for new product launches (launch projects) from concept to series production
- Tracking milestones, deadlines, and project statuses; developing recommendations for action as needed
- Identifying bottlenecks and risks; preparing alternative solutions
- Active collaboration with multiple departments: production, quality assurance, logistics, procurement
- Precise management of technical documentation, prototypes, and change management processes
- Collecting, evaluating, and reporting project data and KPIs
- Professional preparation for internal and external meetings, participation, and preparation of meeting minutes
Providing technical support for prototype manufacturing:
- Preparing for the production of rapid prototypes and monitoring the schedule
- Compiling material and tooling requirements, coordinating with production
- Overseeing the sample inspection and shipping process
- Evaluating sample production results and reporting to the project team
- Updating developments and documentation based on experience
Junior Project Manager responsibilities:
- Independently managing smaller projects or sub-projects (change and development projects)
- Assisting with the preparation of project plans and schedules
- Contributing to risk analyses
- Leading status meetings for mini-projects
- Analyzing and presenting project KPIs to management
What do we expect from you?
- College degree (preferred: technical)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or in project management
- Intermediate level of English (written and spoken, necessary for everyday communication) and intermediate level of Hungarian
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills
- Precision, organization, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Independence, strong communication skills, openness to teamwork
